⚓️ In this game players take on the roles of the Bluefin Squadron, the Mollusk Union or the Smugglers! Each role comes with their own goal and ruleset.

⚓️ Each player rolls their dice and then take turns placing the dice choosing actions to execute that round. When all dice are played, there will be some in between scoring and a new round begins. This will go on until one of the players reaches 30 points!

⚓️ The Bluefin Squadron & the Mollusk Union Act as the suppressor and the suppressed. Both battle each other in an area control game, gaining the regions points when they have more presence than the other faction in those regions in between rounds.

⚓️ The Smugglers Smugglers play an entirely different game, one of pick up & delivery. When visiting an island, they may, instead of gaining new crew, use the cards in a pick up & delivery mechanic, trying to deliver the good at the indicated island. When succeeded, they gain a reward and besides this, the region will go up in influence, gaining the other factions more points when scoring in between rounds.

⭐️ MY THOUGHTS ⭐️

Overall I’m very excited about the asymmetrical gameplay in Ahoy! With two players playing an area control game and the other two a pick up and delivery, this game can be played with a variety of players. However, the interaction between the smugglers and the other factions is close to non existent, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but good to know when starting to play this game.

👍The games’ components are great! Just like with the other #LederGames, the artwork is very cute!
